Blair Massey of Cameron Park, California was close to doubling her business having sales of $2300. What is Blair doing to have this type of growth? She’s following the advice of her mentor, Jill Wylot (Executive Director).
Blair is quick to tell you that her philosophy in business stems from her being a Christian. Giving is natural for her as she oftens treats her customers to more than they have paid for as a way of thanking them for supporting her business. Don’t be fooled though, Blair watches her numbers carefully but always errs on the side of generosity with her clients. She believes that it’s the little things that go a long way. Although Blair is not currently practicing, she is a licensed esthetician and prides herself in staying on top of the trends in skin care. For over 20 years, Blair worked in corporate sales and earned many awards as being a top producer.
Blair does not believe in just making the sale. She focuses on customer retention. Blair is ademant about following up with calls and emails. Blair lets her customers know about every sale and any class that she is teaching through a program called Aweber which is an email service.
Blair loves the Color Alliance system, which is what drew her to Color Me Beautiful. Blair decided not to attempt reinventing the wheel and has been following the advice of her sponsor, Jill Wylot (Executive Director) from day 1. Blair does events and teaches adult education classes. Blair was recently featured in a local newspaper article that showcased her as a color expert. When asked what advice she would offer to a Consultant, she says ” Be consistent at working your business, join networking groups, look at what is working and keep getting better in the areas that are working and practice. Practice is key to being the best you can be.”
